What an evening! Over 100 people joined us at the magnificent Peterborough Cathedral for a very special Peterborough Business Network event, bringing our local business community together to celebrate the city and look ahead to its future.
Held on Tuesday 13th October, Peterborough Business Network in the ‘Heart of the City’ was organised by Hegarty, founders of Your Business Network, in partnership with Peterborough Cathedral and its Heart of the City campaign.
The grand surroundings of the Cathedral provided a fantastic setting for an evening of networking, conversation and insight into the businesses, partnerships and regeneration shaping Peterborough.
We were joined by three brilliant speakers, each sharing a different perspective on our city and the opportunities ahead.
Pep Cipriano, COO of Peterborough Positive, explored the work being done to create a vibrant city centre for all, including regeneration, investment and plans for the next five years.
Jack Pishhorn, COO of Peterborough Cathedral, introduced the Cathedral’s Heart of the City initiative and the important role that partnerships between businesses and the Cathedral can play in supporting Peterborough’s future.
Al Kingsley MBE, Group CEO of NetSupport Limited, rounded off the talks by exploring the connection between education, skills and economic growth, sharing why there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Peterborough.
Alongside the presentations, guests enjoyed food provided by Chef de la Maison and had the opportunity to meet, reconnect and build relationships with fellow businesses and professionals from across the city.
Tony shared, “The evening was a special moment in bringing the local business community together to share good news, build connections and forge ways to drive opportunities for all, within the symbolic setting of Peterborough Cathedral. The Cathedral’s “Heart of the City Partnership” is an opportunity for businesses to come together and support this iconic building that brings prosperity to many businesses locally.”
